If you need a new boiler then we can help. We can install gas, oil or LPG boilers and can recommend a model or if you already have a preferred choice then we are happy to go with that as long as it is right for the system. We are accredited installers for Grant for oil and Viessmann for gas and can offer up to 10 year warranty depending on model. It may be that you just need a like for like replacement, but if your boiler is old then the controls will probably need upgrading to meet current building regulations and to improve the efficiency of the system.
Big savings can sometimes be made just by upgrading the controls on a system, especially one without a room thermostat , and we will instruct you on the most efficient way to operate the system. Modern controls can improve efficiency and reduce fuel costs. In fact, it is a legal requirement from the building regulations that system controls are brought up to a minmum standard when a boiler is replaced. The minimum requirement is a room and cylinder thermostat with separate programmable times and thermostatic radiator valves. But further efficiency improvements can be made with programmable room stats, weather and/or load compensation and even smart controls where you can remotely control your system via the internet or smart phone, some of these extra features have now become mandatory for new gas combi boilers since April 2018. If you don't even have a room thermostat then wireless controls can easily be installed without disturbing the decor.
